This notice explains what this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with the data. The notice covers the website only. The Mirador product runs in your own cloud and is covered by the agreement you sign for the product.
Who we are
Mirador Systems is a trading name of Phronix Digital Ltd. We are the controller for the personal data this notice describes. Write to hello@mirador.systems about anything in the notice.
What we collect
When you ask to talk to the founder we collect your work email address and your company. Where you fill in the other fields, we also collect what you run, anything you write in the notes field, and whether you ticked the box for product updates.
Every request to the site carries your IP address. We use the address to limit repeated submissions. For the limit we keep a one way hash of the address for ten minutes, never the address itself.
Why we use the data, and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange the conversation you asked for. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry a business has made to us.
- To send product updates, only if you ticked the box. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us or by replying to any update.
- To keep the form free of automated abuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we use the data for nothing else.
Who receives the data
- Vercel hosts the website and handles every request to the site.
Vercel processes the data on our behalf.
Where the data goes
Vercel processes data in the United States. That transfer relies on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Vercel is certified. Where any other provider processes data outside the United Kingdom, the transfer relies on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep the data
We keep requests and our replies for 12 months from the date of your request, then delete every record, unless you have become a customer, in which case the customer agreement applies. The hash of your IP address lasts ten minutes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, and ask us to correct the data, delete the data, limit how we use the data, or send the data to you or to someone else in a common format. You can object at any time to our use of the data on the basis of legitimate interests. Write to hello@mirador.systems and we reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, write to hello@mirador.systems with the subject Data complaint. We acknowledge a complaint within 30 days, look into the complaint, and tell you what we found and what we have done.

Cookies and similar technologies
The site sets no cookies and shows no cookie banner, because nothing here needs one.
The site counts no visits at the moment. If we switch on Plausible, which counts visits without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you, the count will rely on the exception for statistical purposes, and the notice will say so. The control below already works: the choice is kept in your browser, on this device, until you clear the site's data.
Changes
When the notice changes, we change the date at the top of the page.
